The purpose of this The LISD FFA Parents & Friends Club is to help support students involved in the Agricultural programs in the LISD geographical area by promoting the FFA Organization; FFA activities and agriculture education on a local, state and national level, and to promote a greater knowledge of the agriculture industry. The booster club will assist with the coordination and implementing of approved fundraising events to raise funds for the LISD FFA programs not limited to SAE’s, CDE’s, LDE’s, camps, and conventions as well as provide annual scholarships for qualified LISD FFA Seniors.

The Fundraising Committee never stops! Help us plan fundraising events and opportunities for the school year. We are actively looking for volunteers.
Our Audit Committee will review the Treasurer books at the end of the school year. This is a one day commitment.
We are in need of at least 3 Members for this committee that will meet in May or June at the conclusion of the school year.
Scholarship applications are available to any LISD FFA senior.
We award the Glenda Johnson Memorial Scholarship each year and will award $2,000.00 to the applicant with the highest scoring application as determined by the Scholarship Committee. The committee also reserve the right to offer additional scholarships if funds are available. Our goal to to provide as many we can each year.
Committee Commitments are January - April each spring.
We are in need of 4 Booster Club Members to determine scholarships. Members will consist of 1 Chair and 3 Judges. Rubrics will be provided for scoring.
**Members cannot have a current Senior in LISD FFA**

Booster Club Meetings are held concurrently with the Lewisville FFA Chapter Meetings

Angela Gambaro
The President presides over meetings, works with the executive council, advisors and LISD administration. The president shall be designated as an authorized check signer. The president will also serve on an FFA Booster Committee. The president confirms that a quorum is present before conducting any vote dependent business at scheduled meetings. The president will submit a copy of its bylaws and standing rules to the principals of each FFA affiliate within the LISD district. The president will also submit required financial forms to the appropriate individual in LISD.

Chelsea Drews
The Vice President will preside over meetings in the absence of the President. They will work with the executive council, advisors and LISD administration. The Vice President shall be designated as an authorized check signer. The Vice President will also serve on an FFA Booster Committee.

Jennifer DePetro
The Secretary will take minutes during all meetings, and provide an emailed copy of the minutes for review to all booster club members. The secretary will also keep a copy of the current LISD FFA Parents & Friends Club bylaws. The Secretary will send monthly (if applicable) reminders to membership of upcoming meetings. They will assist the Treasurer in creating and maintaining a database of membership email and home addresses and phone numbers. They will create meeting agendas as communicated by the President/Vice President and advisors. The secretary will assist fellow officers in facilitating the smooth operation of the LISD FFA Parents & Friends Club. The secretary will also serve on an FFA Booster Committee

Jen Graybiel
The treasurer will keep accurate records of disbursements and collections of funds. They will give regular treasurer’s reports at the executive council and membership meetings, including year to date status based on the approved budget. They will file the appropriate tax forms to the IRS in accordance with current IRS regulations. The treasurer shall be designated as an authorized check signer. The treasurer shall also serve on an FFA Booster Committee.

Tiffany Smith
The Community Liaison will report on upcoming community events, other than LISD scheduled events, that may be beneficial to the organization in the areas of fundraising, education, outreach and service. The Community Liaison will also be responsible to develop new business and community relationships that will help support the FFA vision in our community. They will serve in a support role to the Executive Council as well as the FFA students and Booster Club Members. The Community Liaison will serve on an FFA Booster Committee

Terri Domenech
The Reporter is responsible for handling all the social media, website, and communication with members regarding upcoming events.
